R.I.P. GREEN hype. Hello EFFICIENT reality

It’s been several years of green HYPE.  But here is the reality:

1. Fluctuations in the Sun’s output cause “climate change”.  That’s why there was a freakin glacier over Chicago 10k years ago and why “global warming” also happened on other planets that don’t have SUV’s.  Oh, ya….that’s also why the Earth is currently COOLING.
2. The stuff we exhale, CO2, is not an “emission.”  It’s plant food.
3. China made up a lot of stuff.  The global demand for oil and energy isn’t growing at NEAR the rate some “experts” warn us about.  Oil under $70 proves this.
4. Entire issues of popular magazines, entire advertising campaigns of multinational corporations, and entire platforms of former politicians are contrarian indicators that show the “green movement” is OVER.

Now, for the exciting news.

Forget the hype of windmills on top of houses and fields of solar panels.

The REAL future is in efficiently using what we have. Always has been, always will be.  That’s what 99% of technology is all about.

It’s insane to think that the world is going to stop using oil/gas when we have SO MUCH of it, it’s distribution network is already SOLVED, and it’s getting easier and easier for us to pull out of the ground wherever it is.

So, MPGs on cars will continue to rise.  I would not be shocked in the least to see 80 mpg SUVs in five years.  There is DEMAND for it now…that’s all you need to know.

Demand for energy is growing.  Demand for efficiency is growing.  Now is when the companies that take advantage of the true trend behind the hype will emerge.
