There….a dozen, you owe me a dime.  Use tipjoy to send it, please.

“Ideas” are easy.  “ideas” are NOT worth funding.

Now, ideas that will be executed by a passionate entrepreneur with an intense desire to see that singular “idea” become reality, NO MATTER WHAT…..now THAT I can get behind.

It is ALL execution.

Now, isn’t it about time you stopped thinking, and started doing?

About time to accept…..

…that at some point, you WILL BE JUDGED, and YOU WILL FAIL? — unless you want to live life in the stands, criticizing the players, discussing, with the other timid souls, the reasons you aren’t out there.

….that this “thinking” process, and waiting for the stars to align, is really just a distraction from jumping off the high dive, into the deep-end of unknowns?

….that maybe, just maybe….you will never succeed until you fully commit yourself to the realization of this singular, well-defined vision, regardless of the obstacles that are placed in your path along the way?

….that you should spend some real effort defining what that singular vision is?

It’s not just for entrepreneurs, CEOs or wannabe CEOs.

It’s the one thing they don’t teach you in school and it is the ONLY thing you really NEED to learn (because part of execution is acquiring the knowledge and skills needed to obtain your goal, anyway).

It applies no matter what it is you’re after.  You’ll have to get it.  It really is up to you.

I don’t EVER check the traffic stats on this blog. If I get one sincere comment or question (online or off), I know it was worth writing.  If I don’t….I’m still pretty sure, because I’m an arrogant SOB  :)

I write this TO MYSELF more than I write it to you, because, quite frankly, I am most terrified of complacency.

You should be too.

Now, what’s your vision….and why are you working on ANYTHING else?  :)

    Good Post -
Seen a couple of Ideas come to fruition from others hard work....

When All I had done was Talk & Get feedback (wondered if the idea flowed with the 6 degrees of separation concept...? hah hah)

    - Sometimes the Execution can be difficult from the constraints of daily life
    &
    Lack of Resources.... etc...

But there is the Question - Why are you working on anything else....? Nice to see passion.
